I have always loved art and being creative but I didn’t start painting until September 5, 2021. My friend and I went to a Paint and Sip for a fun time. My passion for painting was ignited and I have not stopped painting since. I truly enjoy it.

Starting with a blank canvas and having something amazing come alive before my eyes. Well sometimes it doesn’t work out quite the way I intended. 😂

With no formal training I decided to diversify and started to paint in oils. I’m self-taught in the Bob Ross’ oil wet-on-wet technique, as well as in acrylics. I enjoy challenging myself constantly. I just love painting in both mediums but plan on learning new techniques also.

I get so lost in the scene I am creating. Painting to me is extremely therapeutic and meditative. I lean towards creating paintings that are more serene and calming. In a world that can be very chaotic, I choose to paint scenes in which anyone can find peace, even if just for a moment.

Oils gives me the advantage of painting at a slower pace and the ability to learn new techniques due to the extended drying time.

I have started to paint using the fluid art techniques using acrylics and having an amazing time with it. This type of technique has endless possibilities and the outcome in each painting is unique and can never be duplicated.
